Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
This is a very complete, detailed book on puppy raising that starts with making the right choice of breed and breeder. The author covers all aspects of puppy raising from socialization and discipline to teaching basic commands and manners. Clark also covers such topics as how to introduce your puppy into a multi dog household and how to get the most out of puppy classes and day care. This is a must-read for all puppy owners, and should be read before choosing a puppy or bringing him or her home.

5 out of 5 stars LOTS OF IDEAS HERE   August 29, 2002

I liked this book because it talks about different methods you can use to solve problems, and it also talks about puppy behavior so you know what to expect and why your puppy acts the way he does. I learned a lot from reading this book and was able to correct several problems I was having with my new pup.
